Cinnamon Lanka offers a unique dining experience in the heart of Como, transporting patrons to the vibrant island nation of Sri Lanka. The restaurant's ambience is intimate and dimly lit, creating a cozy atmosphere for a leisurely lunch. Unfortunately, our Sunday visit was marred by a prolonged period of unattended karaoke featuring traditional Sri Lankan music and a very noisy group, which proved to be a bit disruptive. While the service was friendly and attentive, we found it a bit odd that only one menu was provided for our table of two. However, the food more than made up for these minor inconveniences. The flavors were authentic and delicious, with the deviled chicken and fried fish being particular highlights. The latter, which turned out to be tuna, was a delightful surprise. Overall, Cinnamon Lanka is a worthwhile destination for those seeking a flavorful and authentic Sri Lankan dining experience in Como. We're likely to return on a Saturday evening to explore the restaurant's dinner menu in a hopefully quieter setting.

Living far away from my homeland Sri Lanka, I always missed those delicious dishes there...! Cinnamon Lanka doesn't allow you to miss that now at all. Enjoy the typical Srilankan food there,enjoy the original taste and you will just love it !

I discovered this place through Deliveroo and have been ordering ever since! I might be a bit late to write this review, but it’s definitely worth sharing. I usually go for their chicken kottu roti—it’s delicious, authentic, and comes in a generous portion for the price. The restaurant is a bit far from the city center, but it’s absolutely worth the walk. When I visited in person, I tried their rice set menu of the day. It was spicy, but the kind of spice that leaves you wanting more. Amazing flavors all around! Can’t wait to go back soon!

Authentic tasty Sri Lankan food in the heart of Como. Who would have thought it. Great "short eats" too. It's a shame we didn't discover Cinnamon Lanka sooner as it's a great wee spot and we're coming to the end of our month in Como. But we will try and squeeze in a sit in visit before we leave. Highly recommended
